124th Boston Marathon to be Held Virtually

DATE CHANGE: The B.A.A. has announced that 124th running of the Boston Marathon initially rescheduled for Monday, Sept. 14th will now be held virtually.

If you are running Boston, please register to the right. We think there's a pretty good sized SFRRC team of runners going, once again. Our race captain this year is Joyce Young. We'll be sharing information with one another on the Heylo app... please join us there. If you didn't get an invitation, please contact Joyce or John.
On Sunday morning at 9am, we will be meeting at the finish line to begin a very easy 2-mile shakeout run (over the finish approach of the course - to somewhere around the "One Mile To Go" painted on the pavement). We will finish at the race expo at the John B. Hynes Convention Center (for those who still need to check-in, spend more time on the NormaTec machine, shop, etc.).
On Race Day - Our SFRRC post-race gathering will begin at the OAK Long Bar in the Fairmont Copley Plaza at 3:30pm. For those interested, the marathon's award ceremony takes place in the hotel from 5-6pm. Then, weather permitting, we'll continue our celebration at the Mile 27 Post-Race Party presented by 26.2 Brew at Fenway Park (taking place from 6:30pm - 10pm).
Post-Race consider making your way to the Tracksmith Trackhouse for a complimentary custom poster and beer too: 285 NEWBURY ST.
