SFRRC Biannual Summer Kickoff from Sports Basement Presidio!
Kickoff the warmer weather with a wonderful brunch, raffles, community and run with SFRRC! Come try us out and join the friendly, supportive, fun and knowledgable SFRRC running community. Running is easier together and we are stronger together! 💙🧡
We are gathering in the "Dairy" section of Sports Basement, which is in the back left of the store.
7:45am: Arrive to meet new runners, catch up with friends, find pace groups, etc.!

8:30: SFRRC club run, followed by (free!) brunch and Sports Basement discounts.
Our biannual kickoffs at Sports Basement Presidio are our biggest running day/events of the year and we expect at least 150-200 people, with many people trying us out for the 1st time! If you are a member, invite your running friends! If not a member, you are welcome to try us for a test run, so don't miss out! ALL are welcome. There will be a free and delicious breakfast after the run for everybody. Plus, it's going to be an extra discount day for purchases at Sports Basement for CLUB MEMBERS. Watch your email.
Our membership team will have a registration table at kickoff or simply join online. Start getting weekly emails, an awesome group of runners to run with every Saturday plus post-run socials, organized runs on 4 days of the week, invitations to club events, cool San Francisco Road Runners shirt/swag, training plans for a marathon and much more.
We have a wide range of pace groups ranging from 7:30 minutes per mile to walkers. Runners in each pace group have options of 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 miles. We map the routes in advance on Strava.

For non-members who would like to try a test run with us first before joining, please arrive between 7:45 and 8:00 am to sign a waiver and gather with your pace group.You can also sign the waiver online before arriving!
