The Running Readiness Assessment is an interactive workshop led by physical therapists Dr. Nicole Sabes and Dr. Jenni Kirk Sorrow from SFRRC partner Renew Physical Therapy. This session is designed to help SFRRC runners assess their current mobility and strength required for running. Participants will learn about the common causes of running injuries, review the latest research on injury prevention, and discover targeted mobility and strength exercises to incorporate into their weekly routines.

Pick It Up Roadrunners! Tired of seeing all that litter on San Francisco streets? Here‘s your chance to give back to our wonderful city and help clean it up a little! ??

We will meet at Starbuck‘s at the corner of Bay and Taylor Street, pick up trash while jogging, and end at Starbuck‘s for coffee and pastries.

After a weekend of logging miles, start off your week with a great Runners‘ Recovery class with run coach and mobility specialist, Jenny Maier. This class will be perfect to ease those tired muscles (especially for those who just ran Boston and will be Big Sur and M2B) and help your body bounce back for your weekly miles. Jenny will lead us through a series of stretches and moves designed to support those hardworking muscles key to running and help make us stronger and more resilient! No experience or equipment is necessary (if you have a mat, or yoga block, they are helpful). The Zoom link will be emailed to all registrants the morning of class day.
