SFRRC's "San Francisco Marathon" Water Stop!

Please come join us on the morning of The San Francisco Marathon... It's super fun!!!

We volunteer handing out water and electrolytes and cheer on runners (some SFRRC runners!) at the San Francisco water station in Golden Gate Park (just past Mile 5 in the Half-Marathon, Mile 18 in the full Marathon). We'll all get t-shirts to wear during the water station, but... please still wear your SFRRC CLOTHING and/or HATS!!

We've had a blast supporting and cheering on SF Marathoners at Mile 18 in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022! Please join us for the fun! If you're not sure, well, look at it this way... we've accepted water, gatorade, gels, and such from water stops in races over the past few years, let's return the favor for our fellow runners.

Register (to the right) if you are able to join us. In addition to the joy of helping cheer and give water and treats to the marathoners, the San Francisco Marathon is giving the club $20 per volunteer! On the morning of the marathon, please come to the aid-station at 6:30am (7:00am at the latest). Marathoners will run through until 10:15am. There will be some clean-up, but we'll do this along the way too.
