THE SAN FRANCISCO ROAD RUNNERS VOLUNTEER DAY IN THE PARK!
With cutbacks & lay offs, the Golden Gate Park is in need of our help. This year, for our end of summer picnic, we will be providing our wonderful SFRRC Volunteers to the gardeners of Golden Gate Park for a little assistance at Stowe Lake. Most of us know this location well - it's the scene of the lovely workouts we run on Strawberry Hill and lots of miles run on the surrounding paths. After your hard work, the SFRRC invites everyone to join your Volunteer Coordinator for some food, drink, fun & games (oh yes, games!) at Marx Meadow. Not able to make it at 9am? Volunteers are welcome to help us at the picnic too!

Come help the SFRRC give back to the Golden Gate Park on Saturday, September 25th from 9:00am to noon as we assist the gardeners at Stow Lake. We’re looking for 50 volunteers to help out, after which we invite you to join us for a free picnic at Marx Meadow!
If you’re unable to volunteer in the morning, you’re still more than welcome to join us for the picnic at noon! We do ask, however, that you pay $10 to attend. All proceeds will be donated back to Golden Gate Park.
-To register as a volunteer at Stow Lake, please register as a “Member”
-To register as a volunteer at the picnic, please register as a “Member Companion”
-To attend the picnic in a non-volunteer capacity, please register as a “Non-Member” or “Non-Member Companion”
