The San Francisco Road Runners Club (SFRRC) was founded in 2001 by San Francisco runners looking to provide an opportunity for runners to meet, train and have fun together regardless of their running ability. The goals of SFRRC are to support a healthy lifestyle, and to promote a smart, safe running experience. We provide three group runs a week and training programs to support local marathons and half marathons.
The San Francisco Road Runners has now
375 400 members, and growing, that include volunteers who manage the daily operations of the club. Additionally, 20+ pace group leaders and coaches lead the group runs and workouts. SFRRC has helped more than 2,500 members achieve running goals and fun since its inception.
The SFRRC supports the places we run and has donated more than $50,000 to local organizations such as San Francisco Recreation & Park Department and The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, and Back on My Feet.
We strive to be a healthy and safe running community for our members, and all our members abide by our SFRRC Code of Conduct Policy.
